フランス人 France person – French (as in a the nationality)
フランス語 France language – French (as in the language)
This is the general principle behind most languages and their nationality …but I would just always double check things. The one exception I can think of is English which isn’t quite said the same way as England.
You will hear Eigo and Igirisu, it’s very subtle, but it’s there. However, the kanji follow the rule I’ve mentioned here, so if you are reading you won’t notice a difference, but you will hear it when it’s spoken.

ええ – Yes

木曜日 (もくようび) – Thursday

グラム – Gram

猫 (ねこ) – Cat

一寸 (ちょっと) – A Little

並ぶ (ならぶ) – To Stand In A Line
