My address is where I live. I live in a house, but before this, I lived in an apartment which was much smaller. My neighbour lives next door. Their house looks very similar from the outside, but we have different coloured doors. My front door is white and his is black.

Opposite my house is a park and inside the park is a swimming pool. There is also a supermarket nearby and this is where I buy my food. When you walk down the street you can see telephone wires going to every ones houses.

Most people live in a big city like Tokyo and when you go out to the countryside you will find little villages and farms. Other people like to live in by the seaside, so they can go fishing and be near the beach.

People who live on small islands like Okinawa will be closer to the seaside.  Some people live in the mountains, or in forest. However, you will find more animals than people here.

My house is made out of bricks and I have a wall around my house that is made from stone. My doors are from wood and the windows are made of glass.
