みなさん、こんにちは
As you know, I teach English to Japanese people …but I am also trying to learn Japanese myself.
It is hard, but it is fun and I thought I might share some of this by doing a little challenge where I test my Japanese.
Maybe it will give you some confidence as a learner. I am not the best, but I am trying and it is okay that I am not fluent yet.
In this challenge I just do a lesson on Duolingo. It wasn’t very difficult, but you will see roughly what my Japanese level is. I think I would struggle to pass the N5 level, but I am I am getting close.
I will be honest, this is also so I can just document what I’m doing and hopefully look back and see some progress. (This was recorded in August 2024)
I will do a “challenge” every few months and if you have any ideas for something I could do, let me know.
I have seen Japanese learners do “English challenges” and they are fun videos for me to watch, so hopefully you think the same when it’s other way round.
